Sue - Pet Services Team Leader Groomer
Sue is a graduate of Northern Nash High School. She has worked at Riverside for over 35 years (our longest term employee – Congratulations!) She enjoys working with animals since she grew up around animals on a farm. Sue has dogs, cats, horses, goats, turkeys, and chickens. She is married to Steve and in their spare time, they enjoy riding, camping, kayaking, fishing, AW riding, and grilling out. Sue is a member of Salem Baptist Church, Stoney Creek Cowboy Church, and VP Cowboys for Christ.
Kim - Pet Services Groomer
Kim joined the Riverside team in April 2012. She had worked at Riverside years ago and is glad to be back working with animals and making a difference at Riverside. Kim graduated from Northern Nash High School. She has a wonderful husband, Lynn, a son and a daughter and four amazing grandchildren. She has six cats, three outside dogs, and two spoiled inside dogs. Kim is a member of Stoney Creek Cowboy Church. She also is a member of United States Chung Do Kwan, she is a 4th degree Master in Tae Kwon Do and also an instructor. Kim enjoys working outside and practicing Tae Kwon Do.
Ashley G.- Pet Services Animal Caretaker
Ashley is a student at Wilson Community College where she is starting Nursing School. She has been with Riverside since April 2009. She is a member of Stoney Creek Cowboy Church. Ashley enjoys working out with fellow co-workers doing Tae Kwon Do. She has 2 dogs. Ashley is owner of Little Bit of Heaven Farm in Red Oak.
Brandon - Pet Services Animal Caretaker
Brandon graduated from Southern Nash High School in 1999 and attended Edgecombe Communiity College in Human Services and Sockial Work. Brandon would like to goback to school to pursue a degree in Social Work and Religion. Brandon joined the Riverside team in February 2013. Brandon says he has a great love for animals and enjoys working and caring for them. Brandon has two dogs, Max. a border collie-pit bull mix, and Lexi, a beagle-shih tzu mix and 2 cats, Luna and Moose.
Brandon spent five years working for a non-profit religious organization in Raleigh where he helped support individuals through various life struggles. Brandon is involved in activities and worship at both St Thereae Catholic Church and St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, in Wilson. Brandon enjoys reading, jogging, working out, and playing the piano. He loves to spend time outhside playing endless games of "ball ball" with his dogs.
Amy- Pet Services Animal Caretaker
Amy is a graduate of Faith Christian School and has attended Liberty University and Nash Community College. Amy has always enjoyed working with animals and is interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine. She has been a member of the Riverside staff since September of 2014. Amy has two dogs, Nutmeg and Bailey. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses.
Ashton- Pet Services Animal Caretaker
Ashton is a 2013 graduate of Southwest Edgecombe High school and joined the Riverside team in April of 2015. She enjoys her position here at Riverside because she enjoys being able to play with and take care of the animals and she also enjoys interacting with the pet owners. Ashton is a member of Rock Church in Tarboro and spends her free time playing guitar, singing, and spending time with her friends and pets. Ashton and her family have 1 dog, 4 cats, 2 goats, and 2 hamsters.
Kristen- Pet Services Animal Caretaker
Kristen is a senior at Northern Nash High School and working with Riverside as a part of the work study program. Kristen joined the Riverside team in June 2015. Kristen has many pets! She has 4 dogs and 2 leopard geckos.
